There should not be a separation between online and offline characters

As a co-op game, this is foremost a casual game, the few who exploit online/offline glitches to gain an advantage don't bring any actual harm to the community as a whole, however having to choose between only playing online and only playing offline does affect every single player in either a neutral manner or negatively, being overall a worse outcome than just being able to switch between online and offline.
