Reduce eye straining effects.

Many effects in this game (such as critical hits from the Fighter’s Flute artifact and Prime Enchanters Gauntlet’s weapon) create very quick, frequent, and bright effects that can be very eye straining and possibly dangerous. A setting to tone down these effects would be appreciated.
