Cracked ice

In ice caves, cracked ice can work to the advantage or disadvantage of both the player and hostile creatures. - Appearance: An ice block with a lighter texture and small streaks (similar to suspicious sand). - Mechanics: Upon jumping on or walking over it, the block emits a cracking sound for 1 or 2 game ticks and then disappears, acting as a trap. A small idea that could enhance exploration and combat.
