Currently the biggest addition to the end from vibrant visuals is the End Flashes. It has a fantastic concept and fits the desolate end theme perfectly.
However, there are design inconveniences or inconsistencies in this add.
The flashes are a simple purple overlay, which looks great with the vibrant visuals aesthetic, but for something termed as basically a supernova, the design choices are underwhelming. The flashes are not as bright as one would expect despite being the sole source of atmospheric lighting in the end, and it just being a purple blob in the sky is severely disappointing.
I would rather prefer it to be brighter, maybe have more than a single overlay, such as a brief white flash accompanied by a longer purple aftershock to explore the silent explosive effect of the flash. If the flashes are made less frequent, this will have a huge impact on the ambience, as the dark void returning after a quiet but violent weather event will improve the aesthetic and the desolate vibe by a ton. And treating it more like a weather phenomenon involved making it much rarer, as frequent end flashes tend to become annoying in the end over time.
