PS5 DX offline will tear families apart because P2 gets no skins.

My son and I have a great relationship, and we love playing the Minecraft series together. To make him happy, I bought the PlayStation 5 Deluxe Edition of Minecraft Dungeons 2. Why the Deluxe Edition? Just to see his smile—any father would do the same!

We eagerly counted down to the release, and the amazing intro movie got us completely hyped for our new adventure. However, just a few minutes in, our family faced a literal crisis.

When playing offline co-op on the Deluxe Edition, why are the bonus skins, capes, and pets only available to Player 1? My son was heartbroken because he couldn't equip any of them, sadly asking why only his dad gets to look cool.

Please fix this issue. We just want Player 2 in offline co-op to be able to access and enjoy the exact same Deluxe Edition content as Player 1. Don't let bonus skins tear families apart!

    Me and my wife thought the same! In the first game this was possible.

    The same applies to Switch 2, and it gets worse as you also can't create online only characters and play together with a remote friend. Every local player needs a Nintendo Online subscription.
