Linux Support for Dungeons II

Currently, when starting Dungeons II on Linux (Steam), it doesnt start cause of missing gaming services from Windows. Please just add a native Linux build, removing the requirement of gaming services or add a start argument to disable gaming services for Dungeons II to play it normally on Linux via Proton.

    agreed, i couldn't even get the launcher working on my bazzite setup with proton because it kept just shutting off, a linux port would be so good and much easier and would help many others who have been moving to linux lately!!

    Yes, the only reason I got Dungeons 2 on Steam was because I was expecting to play both on my Windows desktop and Linux laptop.

    There also appears to be no good reason for gaming services to be necessary to play the game to begin with.

    I was hoping that Dungeons II would be a nice game for Steam Deck.
    My laptop is also running Linux, so that's an issue too.

    Affirmative. I was quite excited to start playing and get the capes. I can't even dual boot because of how small my SSD is

    Same here! I've been playing Minecraft Dungeons without any issues, and I would really appreciate it if I could also play Dungeons II. I don't want to return this game, but it's currently unplayable.

    I pre-ordered this game for $30! I can't even get a logo screen because of "MiSsInG gAmE sErViCeS." Does mojang want my money or not???

    It wouldn't even be that hard for them to make it work if steam is being used. Just a few changes and proton would work fairly well.

    It's a shame that Minecraft is one of the best working games on Linux but they are not able to just make their other games even playable on Linux without a compatibility layer. And that now it isn't even playable with one is so sad.
