The Savanna biome feels a bit empty, and adding the Serval would be perfect. It could act as a natural predator, using its high jumps to hunt chickens (similar to foxes).Players cannot tame a wild Serval directly. They behave like Ocelots: they are very shy, and if the player makes sudden movements, they will immediately run away. However, if the player stands still while holding raw chicken or raw fish, the Serval will slowly approach and follow them, allowing players to carefully lead them back to their base.Additionally, it would be awesome to have a unique breeding mechanic: if a player breeds a wild Serval with a tamed domestic Cat, they would get a rare "Savannah Cat" variant with a beautiful spotted coat! This matches real-life biology and would add a fun challenge for pet collectors in Minecraft. While normal domestic cats only scare Phantoms away passively, the hybrid Savannah Cat uses its inherited long legs to perform incredible high jumps into the air. It will actively attack, leaping at Phantoms to swat them down. This gives players a fun, rewarding, and strategic way to defend themselves at night without being forced to sleep, while also helping them collect Phantom Membranes!
