The Bee Squid

πŸπŸ¦‘ The Bee Squid

The Bee Squid is a friendly hybrid mob created by my daughter Lily, age 9, combining two Minecraft creatures she loves: the Bee and the Squid!

The Bee Squid has the head and fuzzy yellow-and-black body of a Bee, but instead of legs and a stinger, its lower body has Squid-like tentacles. Bee Squids have two homes: they can swim around in rivers or live alongside Bees inside Beehives and Bee Nests.

Bee Squids are peaceful creatures, but they are extremely protective of regular Bees. If a player or mob hurts a Bee nearby, a Bee Squid will rush to defend it. It squirts a cloud of black ink at the attacker, temporarily making it difficult for them to see, then attacks them with a venomous sting!

Players can tame a Bee Squid using a Honeycomb. Honeycombs are so irresistible to them that you can even offer one to an angry Bee Squid to calm it down and tame it!

Once tamed, your Bee Squid becomes a loyal little companion, following you on adventures through both land and water while helping protect nearby Bees.

Protect the hive. Explore the rivers. Bring a Honeycomb. πŸπŸ¦‘πŸ―
