The Deep Caves Skeleton: The Spelunker

  • Appearance: A dark-grey skeleton with stone fragments embedded in its bones. It wears a broken, rusted mining helmet and wields a worn stone or iron pickaxe instead of a bow.
  • Spawn Location: Found in the deepest layers of the world (below Y=0) and inside Dripstone Caves.
  • Special Mechanics: This is a fast-moving, melee-focused skeleton. It uses its pickaxe to disable player shields (similar to a Vindicator's axe). It can also blend in with stalagmites, remaining perfectly still until a player walks by.
  • Drops: Coal, raw iron, bones, and rarely, its Miner’s Helmet. Players can repair this helmet to emit a faint light source around them in dark areas without needing torches.
