The Frost Keep

With Minecraft’s upcoming winter update, a cursed castle frozen in time is just what this update needs. There has yet to be a castle structure introduced to the game and I believe the Frost Keep will make the perfect addition. 

The Frost Keep will be home to the previous mob vote loser, the Iceoleger, as well as an “ominous” cursed king. Many of the mechanics introduced within trial chambers will be reused, only this time, these mechanics will have a fresh coat of frost. These mechanics, alongside the Iceoleger will provide a memorable experience.

A previous mechanic that will be focused on is the ominous bottle. If the ominous bottle is used in the Frost Keep, the cursed king is summoned. The cursed king is a more powerful variant of the Iceoleger, who serves as an obstacle to the Frost Keep’s best treasures. A key will be dropped, from which you can access the vaults of the Frost Keep.

Introducing icy magical items to finally allow access to some of the magic that is used by the Illagers will make these vaults very exciting, with potential for new playstyles. Defense is less with Elytra, introducing magic, benefits like magical potency should be put towards alternatives to regular armour, like a special armour set like magical ice robes, which lack in defense stats, but greatly amplify the magic of the user.
