Birds

I think Minecraft could make birds more interesting by giving different species behaviours connected to their environments.

Crows could gather around dropped items and occasionally pick up small objects.

Owls could become active at night and perch on trees.

Woodpeckers could occasionally land on tree trunks and make a small pecking animation.

Seagulls could gather around beaches and sometimes grab dropped food before flying away.

None of these birds would need powerful drops or complicated gameplay mechanics. Their behaviours would simply make different environments feel more alive.

Minecraft already has a beautiful world, and small environmental interactions like these could make it feel much more dynamic.
