This update focuses on expanding the decorative and functional uses of existing minerals in Minecraft. It introduces slabs, stairs, polished variants, pillar variants and chiseled variants for standard mineral blocks (such as Copper, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Netherite and Coal), giving builders far more detail and flexibility for industrial, underground, and luxurious builds. A new amethyst block is also included, created from nine amethyst shards, looking like its new polished variant, just with border (much like block of quartz vs polished quartz).
Additionally, it expands the progression system by adding Emerald and Amethyst Tools and Armor, giving players two brand-new gear sets and making emeralds valuable for more than just villager trading, and making amethyst acually useful! Emerald armor makes Villagers set their prices down a little bit, and the emerald tools and armor is at level with diamond in damage/protection, but durability is equal to iron, or a little bit more. Introducing Amethyst Tools and Armor! While offering moderate durability, Amethyst gear excels in high mining speed, high enchantability, but low durability. Have a nice day!
