Minecraft is a great game that has been part of my life since I was 5, but I don’t like the direction it’s going. (I’m a Java player but most of these are about Bugrock because I just started playing it and god it’s weird)
1. Mojang is currently more focused on adding new biomes that nobody ever thought of before. That’s great, but remember when you promised to redo some existing biomes? I think that you should prioritize doing what you said you would like 2 years ago instead of adding yet another variant of oak wood.
2. Obvious parity issues such as Bugrock (Wait I meant Bedrock) only allowing shields and maps in the off-hand are quite frustrating. Instead of fix small parity issues the casual player doesn’t know exists, perhaps prioritize bigger and more clear parity issues.
3. I really don’t like what’s going on with Bugrock’s Marketplace. For example, why are we individualizing Minecoins to one brand? PlayStation has “Tokens”, and Nintendo has a separate Minecoin system now. Why, I ask, must people have to purchase 3 different currencies? I understand having separate wallets, but why can’t we convert them?
I have more but I’m tired so I’m going to stop now
