Colorful Slimes

I think slimes are a cool, but I feel like they're underutilized in minecraft and almost forgotten, but I think a new slime update that has different colored slimes in different biomes could popularize them again, like how pigs, chickens and cows have their own biome specific ones and maybe even have their own unique abilitys like a fire one that applies flame but unlike the magma cube this one would be found in the overworld. That's just an example I had, I honestly just think that different colored slimes would be cool and to make them less rare to find.
