The gold golem

The gold golem is basically an ore finder. It looks like a copper golem but has a light on its head instead of a rod. When your far but near an ore the light will shine the color of the ore. And the strength of the light depends on how close you are to the ore. It follows you around but right clicking will make it sit. To craft a gold golem place a gold block and a carved pumpkin on the top.
