When you're using an Anvil, whether you are enchanting a tool with Enchanted Books, repairing or simply renaming it, the text shown beneath the slots is always "Enchantment Cost", which is wrong if you're doing one of the last two scenarios, after all, there's no enchanting involved in these actions.
I propose the following change:
- Just enchanting? "Enchantment Cost: %$1s XP"
- Just renaming? "Renaming Cost: %$1s XP"
- Just repairing? "Repairing Cost: %$1s XP"
The problem arises when you're doing both of these at once, such as enchanting and renaming, or repairing and renaming, with "Enchantment & Renaming Cost" being way too big for the UI itself in-game. Perhaps you could simplify these with simply "Cost", or even just use that for all these scenarios. This way, you'd read it like: "Cost: 10 XP".
To avoid the "XP" at the end, maybe an orb icon (the same entity when you splash a Bottle o' Enchanting) on the left side would be an interesting addition too, like: "[icon] Cost: %$1s".
I believe that, with these changes, players would understand better what they're about to perform in the Anvil, besides making it more accurate and improving the localization on more grammar-enriched languages.
