Dear Minecraft Team,
I suggest adding a built-in/native Voice Chat feature (with a proximity voice chat option) directly into Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Why this would be great:
Bedrock Edition is played across multiple platforms (mobile, consoles, and PC). Unlike PC players who can easily use Discord, console and mobile players often find it difficult to communicate via text chat while playing, or struggle to set up external voice apps. A native voice chat feature would bridge this gap, making multiplayer sessions, Realms, and servers much more social and accessible for everyone.
How it could work:
- A toggle in the audio settings to enable/disable voice chat.
- Push-to-talk or voice-activation options.
- Proximity voice chat mode, where players can only hear each other if they are close by in-game.
- Robust parental control options to ensure a safe environment for younger players.
Thank you for continuously making Minecraft such an incredible game!
Best regards,
