I would like to suggest adding Crimean Tatar (Qırımtatarca) as an official language option in Minecraft: Java Edition.
Crimean Tatar is the indigenous language of the Crimean Tatars and is an important part of their cultural heritage and identity. Adding it to Minecraft would make the game more accessible and welcoming to Crimean Tatar-speaking players around the world.
Minecraft already supports many languages, and adding Crimean Tatar would allow players to experience the game in their native language while also helping preserve and promote the language in a modern digital environment.
Possible features could include:
- Full translation of the Minecraft: Java Edition interface and menus.
- Translation of item names, blocks, advancements, subtitles, and other in-game text.
- Support for the Crimean Tatar Latin alphabet and appropriate text rendering.
- Inclusion of Crimean Tatar in the language selection menu.
I believe that adding Crimean Tatar would be a meaningful step toward making Minecraft more linguistically diverse and accessible to its community.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
