Dear Mojang team, thanks for the chance to test this build.
Handheld: native 1280x720 on RenderDragon. Vibrant Visuals OFF — 120 FPS while building, 80–100 FPS in regular biomes. Docked: stable 60 FPS with Vibrant Visuals ON, well past 60 with it OFF.
Bottlenecks: with Vibrant Visuals ON handheld drops to 30–40 FPS on foot and ~20 FPS during fast creative flight.
Critical bug: during high-speed creative flight the engine fails to stream chunks in time, causing visible terrain holes. Happens with and without Vibrant Visuals, so it looks like a data-streaming or world-gen thread bottleneck, not rendering. Placing a torch in complex terrain also causes micro-stutters, absent in flat worlds.
Flat world stress test (Vibrant Visuals ON, 16 chunks, night creative flight placing torches): no drops, stable 63+ FPS, usually 70–80.
Nether portal: first load ~6–7 seconds. Return to Overworld is instant — chunks stay cached in Mem, no unloading.
Extreme test: 476 TNT at once with Vibrant Visuals ON. Physics and light refreshes took ~1.5 min, framerate hit 8 FPS minimum, but no crash. Big improvement over legacy platforms.
Thanks again.
