1) Lag
One issue with the Minecraft beta is that the game can be quite laggy. During testing, I noticed that the game did not always run smoothly and had some noticeable lag. This can make the game less enjoyable because it can affect movement and make gameplay feel less responsive. Therefore, reducing lag would improve the overall experience for players.
2) Chest Loot
Another problem is that some chest loot does not load correctly. For example, a normal chest in an oak forest appeared to have no loot, but when I broke the chest, the items suddenly appeared. This could confuse players because they may think the chest is empty and miss out on useful items. Therefore, fixing the chest loading issue would make the game more reliable.
3) Realism and Lighting
One of the strongest features of the beta is its improved realism, lighting and shading. The lighting looks much better, and objects become shaded when they move out of direct sunlight. This makes the Minecraft world feel more realistic and immersive because light behaves in a more believable way. Overall, the improved lighting and shading make the game visually more impressive.
4) Stars
The stars are another visual improvement in the beta. I noticed that the stars in the night sky look better than before. This makes the night-time environment more detailed and gives the game a better atmosphere. Therefore, improving small details such as the stars helps make the Minecraft world feel more polished.
