While Minecraft has great exploration features, the Overworld lacks a sense of shared history with other explorers. While we encounter skeletal remains in the Deep Dark or the Nether, we don't find old camps or abandoned adventurer outposts in the Overworld.
I propose a brand-new update featuring the following additions:
-
New Structure – Abandoned Adventurer Outposts: Small, atmospheric camps scattered across the Overworld wilderness, showing signs of past travelers who tried to survive the elements.
-
New Mob – The Lost Explorer:
-
Found near these outpost camps as friendly or neutral NPCs.
-
Players can trade rare or unique items with them, such as broken Elytra fragments, old treasure maps, and legacy items.
-
Occasionally, players can rescue them from nearby hostile mobs, triggering a special reward system.
-
-
New Item – Grappling Hook or Climbing Pick:
-
A brand-new utility tool designed to make climbing steep mountains and scaling deep caves much easier.
-
This would add a fresh, fun mechanic to movement and make parkour in Minecraft even more exciting.
-
This update would breathe new life into exploring the Overworld and give solo players a feeling of companionship. Please consider adding this to Minecraft!
