Dear Minecraft Team,
I would like to share a suggestion regarding the pricing of Minecraft server hosting.
Currently, the cost of running a 24/7 server can be quite high for individual players and small communities. Because of this, many players may choose not to purchase a server even though they would like to have one.
I believe that reducing the price of 24/7 server hosting could attract significantly more customers. If the service becomes more affordable, more players, friends, and public communities may be willing to purchase servers and continue their subscriptions for longer periods.
For example, when a digital product becomes more affordable, it can become accessible to a much larger number of customers. Even if the price per customer is lower, the increase in the number of customers could potentially result in higher overall revenue.
I would therefore suggest introducing a more affordable 24/7 server plan, particularly for small communities and individual players. Different pricing tiers based on player slots, RAM, or server usage could also be considered.
I genuinely believe that affordable server pricing could help Minecraft grow its server community while also benefiting Minecraft financially.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my suggestion.
Best regards,
DevRaj
