Dear Minecraft developers,
I have wanted to say thank you for a very long time.
I’m 15 years old, and Minecraft has been a huge part of my life for many years. I remember when my mom first downloaded it for me because I was too young to know how to do it myself. I watched Minecraft videos on YouTube constantly, talked about the game with everyone, and could talk about it for hours.
I’ve played many games, but Minecraft has remained my favorite for years. I have so many memories connected to it that it’s hard to explain how much it means to me. Many people I know even associate Minecraft with me.
Sometimes I watch a Minecraft video or hear the music and suddenly feel incredibly emotional. I want to cry, even though I still play the game today. I think it’s nostalgia - not only for Minecraft, but for moments of my life, old videos, worlds I created, and the person I was a few years ago.
The music affects me especially deeply. A few notes can make me feel happiness, sadness, warmth, nostalgia, and gratitude all at once.
Thank you for creating something so special. Minecraft is not just a game to me. It is a place that has been beside me for so many years, filled with memories, stories, and people.
I hope that when I’m much older, I’ll hear Minecraft’s music again and remember these years with the same warmth.
Thank you for Minecraft. Thank you for the music. And thank you for being by my side all these years. ❤️
