Please remember that these are our worlds.
Minecraft is supposed to be a game about creating things. But some of my worlds have existed for years. They contain countless hours of building, exploring, experimenting, and memories that I simply can’t recreate.
So when Minecraft suddenly tells me “You don’t own this world”, it isn’t just a technical error to me. I created it. I played it. I spent years of my life in it.
The most frustrating part is that I’ve actually seen some of these “lost” worlds still appear when I try to select a world for Realms. Minecraft can apparently see them. It knows they’re there. Yet it refuses to let me access them.
Then there’s “Contains content breaching our policy”—for ordinary survival worlds I created myself.
I understand that Minecraft needs moderation and security systems. But please remember what is behind the data: a person who cares about what they built.
A world isn’t just a file. It might be someone’s childhood castle, their first survival base, a project that took years, or simply a place full of memories.
Please investigate these bugs and, most importantly, provide a reliable way to recover worlds that become inaccessible.
Don’t tell us to “start again.”
Some of us already spent years building the worlds we’re trying to get back.
Please don’t let our time disappear.
