I think Minecraft should add Brown Bears as a neutral wildlife mob.
Brown Bears could spawn in forests and taiga biomes. They would normally ignore the player, but become aggressive if the player gets too close to them or their cubs.
They could also have interactions with the environment:
- Bees: Brown Bears could approach beehives and try to eat the honey, causing nearby bees to attack them.
- Salmon: Brown Bears could catch and eat Salmon in rivers and lakes.
- Sweet Berries: Brown Bears could eat Sweet Berries from berry bushes.
These interactions would give Brown Bears a purpose beyond simply being another animal. Minecraft already has bees, honey, salmon, berry bushes, forests, and other wildlife. Brown Bears could connect some of these existing elements and make the wilderness feel more alive.
