    You could do this by softmodding your Wiis. There is a game called Cavex - Minecraft Old Beta 1.7 for the Wii.
    The problem was there was no inventory before CavEX 0.3.

    EDIT: An update to the app, CavEX 0.3, adds survival mode and a proper inventory. However, Chests do not work.
