Currently, "Only Allow Trusted Skins" is enabled by default for all players. Because most casual players never look deep into their General Settings to turn this off, millions of players unknowingly view custom, community-created skins as plain default Steves or Alexes.
This harms players who spend time designing custom skins, limits creativity, and pushes the perception that custom .png skins are "broken" unless purchased through the Marketplace.
Suggested Solution:
Set "Only Allow Trusted Skins" to OFF by default.
Alternatively, show a one-time prompt when joining multiplayer asking if the player wants to enable/disable trusted skins, rather than hiding it silently in the settings menu.
