Craftable Sponges

I think sponges should be made craftable in vanilla minecraft. Yes, I know there are mods out there that allow it to happen, but it's enjoyable having an unmodded experience, and there are many times where I'm playing and think, "I wish I could craft a sponge for this build that needs a lot of water removed" and/or "I don't want to add mods to this world". The recipe could contain something you would maybe find in a swamp biome, or desert, you could add a water bucket to make a wet sponge and then dry it out yourself in a furnace. I think it would be very nice to have the crafting recipe available for those who want to clean a lot of water up quickly for something, but don't want to find an ocean monument and fight through guardians

    I think they should add Sea Sponges (a new underwater slime variant) that drop sponges, either the block or items that can be combined into a block
