I really liked the Minecraft beta version for Nintendo Switch 2, but there are a few things that should be fixed before the official release or improved shortly after launch.
First of all, I played with all the settings maxed out in "vibrant visuals" mode and with "fancy graphics"; meaning maximum chunk distance, shadows turned all the way up, etc. Despite being playable in most cases, it definitely needs better optimization. In "vibrant visuals" with everything maxed out, the frame rate averages around 20-24 FPS, which makes it very uncomfortable to play (it's not unplayable, but it's not pleasant either); they should boost the rate to a stable 30 FPS. On the other hand, in "fancy graphics" mode at 28 chunks, it runs at a somewhat unstable 50 FPS; this is great, but it would be nice if it hit a stable 55 or 60 FPS.
Secondly, it should be compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2 mouse mode, as many players will feel more comfortable playing that way.
Thirdly, the FPS needs to be improved when unlocking initial recipes. In 80% of cases, when unlocking the first crafts, the FPS drops to 3 FPS for one or two seconds.
