I am writing to request major improvements to gameplay parity between Minecraft: Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. Different technology should not mean large gameplay differences.
One of the biggest issues is the Java Edition pie chart and debug information. Java players can access detailed information that Bedrock players do not have an equivalent way to access. This can reveal information about nearby activity and performance, creating an advantage. Mojang should provide comparable tools on Bedrock or ensure neither edition receives information that can unfairly affect competition.
PvP is another major concern. Combat timing, knockback, hit registration, reach, shields, projectiles, movement, and other mechanics can behave differently. Players can master one edition and find their skills work differently on the other.
Redstone and technical gameplay also have major differences. Farms, machines, commands, entity behavior, and technical builds can differ.
I respectfully ask Mojang to review the pie chart and debug systems, improve PvP and redstone consistency, standardize important mechanics, and reduce unnecessary differences.
Minecraft is one game, and players should not feel disadvantaged because of their edition or platform. Perfect parity may not always be possible, but fairness should be a goal. Different technology should not mean different gameplay standards.
Please make Java and Bedrock parity a priority.!!
