Agreed -- To help just a bit; setting the 'overall' graphics settings to 'performance' does help slightly ... to the point where I can almost hit 60fps with 75% scaling -- the problem comes down to all the custom shaders I believe; they do not pre-bake into the pipeline it seems and attempts to load them on-the-fly -- the most notable, apparent issue stemming from this is seen when swapping items in the hotbar -- it will 'load' them into memory the first stutter and work, for a slight amount of time until it 'unloads' from memory and you re-scroll to it and it attempts to re-load it into memory once again ... an endless loop of shader re-building.

Setting the game to simple/fancy does not inhibit this; assumedly because the base games assets are all pre-baked/optimized already for the graphics pipeline whereas vibrant visuals is YMMV -- still, there is no reason tablets like ours (Yoga Tab Gen 1) shouldn't be able to play this at a pretty smoothe 50-60fps with the proper settings; its unfortunate, because the game is awesome with vibrant visuals ... but not if its literally unplayable.
