I suggest adding a render resolution scaling option to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, especially for mid-range Android and iOS devices. The game could render the 3D world at a lower internal resolution and then upscale the final image to the device's native resolution, similar to resolution scaling in PC and console games. Possible options could be 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100%. For example, on a 1080p display, 70% scaling could render the 3D scene at approximately 756p before upscaling it to 1080p. The UI and text could remain at native resolution so they stay sharp. This setting should be independent from Render Distance and Simulation Distance. Players could therefore keep a higher render distance while reducing the GPU workload. An optional Dynamic Resolution mode could automatically lower or increase the internal resolution based on FPS or frame time to maintain a target frame rate. This would give mobile players much more control over the balance between visual quality and performance, particularly on mid-range devices with limited GPU performance.
Sometimes my mid-range phone experiences FPS drops in more demanding situations. A render resolution scaling option would allow players to reduce the GPU workload and maintain a more stable frame rate without necessarily having to lower the render distance.
