MInecraft Custom Capes

I doubt this would ever be added, however I think it would be super cool is Mojang made there be a way where every player for a limited time had the ability to create their own custom cape that would be added to the game. It would create a code to redeem the cape but it could only be used once. This would create a huge diversity in capes considering almost everyone has the same few now.
