Give armour stands in Bedrock Edition the ability to hold items in their hands and have those items trigger the same natural mob responses they would normally cause.
For example, if an armour stand is holding a potato, nearby pigs could be attracted to it and gather around the armour stand, similar to how they follow a player holding a potato. Other items could work similarly: wheat could attract cows and sheep, seeds could attract chickens, and so on.
The attraction could have a limited range and only affect mobs that naturally respond to the held item. Removing the item would immediately stop the effect.
This would add a useful new purpose for armour stands while creating more possibilities for farms and mob-management systems. Players could use them as stationary “bait” points to gather animals without needing to constantly hold food themselves or use leads. It could also be useful for decorative builds, animal pens, zoos and adventure maps.
This would make armour stands feel more interactive with the world while building upon mechanics that already exist in Minecraft.
