    Thank you for pushing this update! It’s a great step toward better parity and consistency.

    However, Thai still relies on the fallback font and hasn’t received these improvements yet. Thai localization is particularly challenging due to complex scripts with upper/lower vowels and tone marks, often causing the classic “floating vowels” issue.

    It would be great to see Thai supported in the next phase, along with more flexible font customization for resource pack creators. This would help communities achieve better text rendering while the native font system continues to improve.

    The font update is good for consistency and all, but it breaks compatibility with resource packs that uses custom fonts.

    While I'm at it, please fix Ore UIs fonts being blurry.

    The new font breaks compatibility with some resource packs including old format default8 font image, so I suggest using entirely new file names, such as default8_0 or mcseven_0... Do not use the old filenames default8 anymore; otherwise, the font display will be completely scrambled when using the aforementioned resource pack, which is especially important for the user experience of some unupdated contents in marketplace after game updates.
