As part of our work to make Minecraft feel more consistent across editions, Bedrock now uses the same bitmap font for all supported characters. This means players using languages that rely on extended Latin (e.g. Polish), Cyrillic (e.g. Russian), Greek, and other supported character sets will now see Minecraft's bitmap font instead of a fallback font.
This is still an early version, and we're continuing to improve the experience. We'd love your feedback:
- Does the updated font feel more consistent with the rest of Minecraft?
- Is the new font easier or harder to read in your language?
- Are there any specific characters, symbols, or words that don't look quite right?
If you play Minecraft in a language that uses these character sets, let us know what you think in the comments. Your feedback will help shape future improvements!
