Minecraft Java Edition not operating under Windows 11 VM on macOS

Minecraft cannot show graphics due to an error in configuring OpenGL:

  The above is when running Minecraft 26.2 Windows 11 under a Parallels Desktop Pro 26.4.1 (57516) virtual machine on macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 (25G83).
  
  This is a regression from previous versions of Minecraft Java Edition (prior to version 26).

  It would be great to be able to have Minecraft to continue to use OpenGL software renderers, since there are advantages to running Minecraft under a Windows virtual machine on ARM (for example, using full keyboard and mouse controls without macOS getting in your way!) rather than use macOS directly.  Sounds silly, but it's actually more useful to run Minecraft under Windows on a Mac since you can actually control your game better!
