let us launch MineCraft java directly from a desktop shortcut

We used to be able to click a desktop icon and start playing our downloaded version immediately. no waiting for a launcher to load. no we forgot your account after 60 days. just a double click and the game was running like every other downloaded game ever. I just want that simple functionality back. The launcher itself just slows the whole process.
