Hear me out about red sand

Since red sand irl contains iron how about in the future you devs can make red sand work similar to gravel and make it often drop red sand and has a smaller chance of dropping raw iron and/or iron nuggets. Which will actually give badlands more reason to go to. And also make it easier for those who spawned in a badlands biome and is struggling to do tools, armor, ect.
