Not losing items during internet disconnect

Hi there, I was hoping something could be developed to prevent death and losing all items with experiencing a network connection loss. I play box pvp enchanted, I grinded to get netherite sword and leggings amongst so many other good bits of loot. My internet disconnected and because of this I had to reconnect. By the time I reconnected I was killed and lost everything. I’m hesitant to grind again as I’m sure at some point I will lose connection again. Any tips?
