I have struggled with designing shops where bundles are given to the player from a dispenser which is connected to a farm, so I have designed these blocks to help.
- These blocks are Redstone components.
- When interacted with they has two slots similar to the layout of a furnace. In the bottom slot you can put a bundle or shulker box. In the top you can but any item (the exceptions are putting a bundle into a bundle and a shulker box into a shulker box.)
- These blocks take in and output items like a furnace, where items come through a hopper in the top, shulker boxes and bundles come in through a hopper in the side. Items are outputted through a hopper at the bottom.
- When a Redstone input is given to a compressor, it will put the item in the bottom slot into the shulker box or bundle's first available slot.
- When a Redstone input is given to a decompressor, it will take one stack or less of the item in the first full slot and put it into the decompressor's bottom slot. This can then later be accessed by a hopper underneath (unless the hopper is powered.)
- These blocks process items at one tick intervals, just like hoppers.
I feel that this feature would make a difference to the way automated farm's collection systems could work, and that it would make a large difference to the Redstone capabilites of Minecraft and inspire new creations from the Redstone Community.
