Skin import restrictions

Today when I was playing online with someone else, I saw that the admin's skin was custom-made, so I wanted to import one too, but there are restrictions - it has to be 64×64 or 64×32So can you lift the restrictions?And it worked fine when importing in version 1.21, but completely stopped working in version 1.26. Please, please, please
