I suggest adding a built-in Custom Server option to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
When creating or editing a world, players could choose to turn it into a persistent server. The owner could set a player limit, enable/disable PvP, manage permissions, configure world settings, and create backups. These settings could be changed later without recreating the world.
Bedrock should also have an “Add Server” option where players can enter a server address and port, allowing them to connect directly to compatible custom servers.
Server owners could manage their server through an in-game Server Management menu, including player permissions, moderation, world settings, backups, and compatible add-ons.
This would make creating a private SMP or community server much easier without requiring advanced technical knowledge. Realms could remain the simple official hosting option, while custom servers would give players more control over how their worlds are hosted and managed.
The goal is simple: Create World → Enable Custom Server → Configure → Start → Share the server address → Play.
