In my opinion, when we put Alay's in some kind of special magical armor, they can cling to us in case of danger and can be an extra power to us up to a point. and he can even sing a special song in front of the Warden boos to calm them down and send them back underground. When Alay takes too much damage, we can feed him forest fruit.
