Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on MacOS

Hello,

I'm frustrated. My girlfriend bought Minecraft and wanted to play with some of her friends. They play on console. Her only means of being able to play is on her MacBook Air M3. She assumed that she could play Bedrock edition but now she is stuck with only Java edition. I am more just surprised that it's not possible. Anyway, I would just enjoy being able to play the game on MacOS and so would my girlfriend.
