Dear Mojang / Xbox Team,
I’m writing as an active Minecraft player with some suggestions that could help the platform grow faster, especially compared to Roblox.
Comparison with Roblox
In Roblox, creators can freely monetize their experiences: paid access, items, subscriptions, and more. This creates a strong incentive and leads to a large number of high-quality servers.
In Minecraft, server monetization is heavily restricted — mostly limited to cosmetics and customization. As a result, many talented creators either operate in a gray area or don’t launch serious projects at all. The number of quality official servers remains relatively low.
Suggestion 1
If players were given more freedom to monetize servers (paid access, premium ranks, official tools with transparent fees), it would significantly increase both the quantity and quality of official servers.
Suggestion 2
I also ask you to reconsider the rule that bans servers allowing non-official (cracked) accounts. This restriction greatly limits the player base, especially in certain regions, and pushes part of the community toward workarounds. A more flexible approach could boost overall activity while still protecting against piracy.
These changes could make the Minecraft ecosystem much stronger and more attractive for both creators and players.
Best regards,Gerald ]
