**Minecraft Bedrock on Linux**

Official Minecraft Bedrock Support for Linux

Please consider bringing an official Minecraft Bedrock Edition client to Linux.

Linux is an excellent platform for development and is widely used by developers and technical users. However, Linux desktop users still do not have an official Bedrock client, despite Bedrock being available on Windows, Android, iOS, and consoles.

An official Linux version would allow players to:

• Play Bedrock without unofficial launchers or compatibility layers.

• Access cross-platform multiplayer, Realms, Marketplace, and Microsoft account features.

• Use Linux as their primary operating system without keeping Windows solely for Minecraft.

• Potentially benefit from better performance and system integration through a native client.

Linux is already supported for Bedrock Dedicated Server, so there is already Linux support within the Bedrock ecosystem.

For some players, Minecraft Bedrock is one of the only reasons they still need Windows. I personally use Linux for development because it is lightweight and provides an excellent programming environment, but Bedrock is a major obstacle to switching completely.

Please consider releasing an official native Linux client for Minecraft Bedrock while maintaining cross-platform compatibility with existing players.

🐧 Linux players would really appreciate having the choice to play Bedrock natively on their preferred operating system.
