Custom Marketplace Capes for Java and Bedrock

I think Minecraft should add custom capes that can be bought on the Minecraft Marketplace.

Marketplace creators could design their own capes and submit them to Mojang for approval, similar to other Marketplace content. Once a player buys a cape, it would be connected to their Microsoft account and could be used in both Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition.

Mojang could review cape designs before they are added to the Marketplace. This would prevent people from making copies of rare or existing capes.

Existing special capes would still remain exclusive. Marketplace capes could even be shown as a separate type of cape so that rare and event capes keep their special status.

This would give players many more ways to customize their characters, give Marketplace creators something new to design, and allow Minecraft to have more capes without people simply copying existing ones.
