Sulfuric Acid - A New PvP mechanic and Use of the Sulfur Block

Sulfuric Acid & Corrosion Sulfur is a great addition to Chaos Cubed, but it needs a unique gameplay purpose. I think players should be able to brew Sulfuric Acid, creating Minecraft's first potion that attacks equipment instead of health. Recipe idea: Sulfur Blocks would have a small chance to drop Sulfur Powder (similar to Flint from Gravel). Three Sulfur Powder could create Sulfur Gas, which can be brewed with a Water Bottle into Sulfuric Acid. New effect: Corrosion A Splash Potion of Sulfuric Acid applies Corrosion, a status effect that temporarily damages the durability of equipment over time. It affects: - Armor - Shields - Weapons - Tools - Elytra - Any durability-based equipment Mending still works normally, so players can repair their gear by collecting XP. Corrosion simply creates a temporary durability problem during PvP instead of permanently destroying equipment. This would give Sulfur a valuable purpose beyond building while adding a completely new combat strategy. Fire burns players. Poison weakens players. Corrosion weakens their gear.
