【Description】
The Japanese fonts are currently not unified across different Bedrock Edition platforms in the preview version. There is a clear and noticeable font discrepancy between mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and other platforms such as Windows PC and Nintendo Switch.
While PC and console platforms seem to use the newly unified UI fonts properly, mobile devices still render a different font style or fall back to system fonts. This causes an inconsistent visual experience for cross-play users.
【Steps to Reproduce】
1. Launch Minecraft Preview on a mobile device running iOS or Android.
2. Open any menu, settings screen, or the in-game chat to observe the Japanese text font.
3. Launch the exact same Preview version on a Windows PC or Nintendo Switch.
4. Compare the font style, thickness, and layout of the Japanese text between these platforms.
【Observed Results】
The Japanese fonts do not match across these platforms. Mobile versions display a different font face compared to PC and Nintendo Switch, showing that the fonts are not unified.
【Expected Results】
The Japanese font should be fully unified, identical, and consistent across all Bedrock Edition platforms, regardless of whether it is running on mobile, PC, or consoles.
